Contra Costa Humane Society is a non-profit organization that graciously relies on private donations from the community to support our programs.

We do not receive funding from any government agency or any other humane society. Below are some ways that you can support us in our mission to make Contra Costa County a better place for all companion animals.

Events: CCHS hosts events periodically throughout the year. This includes CCHS's Annual Paws For a Cause Walk-a-thon.

Donate: Your tax-deductable donation helps to save the lives of animals in Contra Costa County through CCHS's many programs, including adoptions, spay/neuter assistance, and emergency medical assistance to low-income residents.

Membership: Your annual membership entitles you to receive our newsletters as well as discounts of food and supplies from Pet Food Express and East Bay Nature.

Volunteer: Volunteers are a lifeline for many non-profit organizations, including CCHS. It is because of the dedication of so many wonderful volunteers that CCHS and our county's animals can thrive.
